Established in 2017
by owner Kirsty York Blackbird Ink originally opened as a small studio in a Lafayette strip mall. We are happy to say that Blackbird has grown much since then and has now moved to a much bigger location in Longmont, Colorado. We are right on the quaint Longmont main street surrounded by beautiful historic buildings, shops, galleries, endless food and drink options and of course Longmont's lush parks. All within walking distance! We couldn’t be happier to be part of the active downtown Longmont community.
In an industry with an enormous amount of plastic waste, here at Blackbird we prioritize using eco friendly compostable tattoo supplies. From paper ink caps to botanical disinfectants to compostable bedsheets, machine bags, bottle covers, station covers and more! We are happy to say that thanks to companies like Good Judy about 90% of our supplies are eco friendly.
